As we look forward to 2016, we couldn’t resist having a quick reminisce about the year we’re about to say goodbye to. There’s no denying that 2015 has been an action-packed year in the technology world: we’ve seen 4K TV go mainstream, the Internet of Things become a common phrase, and 4K photography became the hot topic. It’s been quite a year! Being slightly indulgent, we thought we’d have a look back at Panasonic specifically, and even we were surprised at what had been achieved….
We’ve seen a record number of product launches this year, with an array of products ranging from audio-visual equipment to home appliances and beauty and imaging products to name but a few. Panasonic’s products are all developed under the theme of ‘A Better Life, A Better World’ – in essence, every product has been designed to make your life better to some degree.
Take a washing machine for example: yes it’s functional, yes it cleans clothes. But to Panasonic a washing machine is far more than a product that cleans your clothes - it’s something that allows you to go hand-in-hand with your kids rolling down hills, making mud cakes or gorging on chocolate – without the worry about ruining dirty clothes.
The same goes for a TV; again you can be sure it’s technically specified to the max but despite all the latest technical wizardry, VIERA TVs are designed with users in mind and remain inherently easy to use to ensure you can access the TV programmes you want, when you want, without any stress. Sounds good to me!
And it’s not just us that think Panasonic has had a good year – with an incredible 143 awards this year, there’s no denying that Panasonic is leading the way where others will follow. With the well renowned CES global consumer electronics show just around the corner, and a host of new products lined up, 2016 looks set to be another milestone year for Panasonic.
