Get ready for graduation season

Blog post   •  Jul 06, 2016 12:00 BST

After three years of bringing home their washing, calling you for extra cash and stressing about their workload, your sons and daughters are finally graduating. Hooray! With this in mind, we’ve got some tips and tricks to help the day to go smoothly.

Make sure you capture all the glorious and proud moments on camera - whether it be film or still images. This day only happens once in their lives. We’re sure your kids will be looking for a good Facebook profile picture too, so have a good think about the equipment you’re bringing.

Get suited and booted and ensure you grab a good seat to get the best view of your loved one. One of the best ways to do this is by setting up a tripod (preferably not blocking anyone’s view). This will steady your shaking hand so won’t result in a blurry picture.

Why not try 4KPhoto mode from Lumix? 4K Photo enables you to film in 4K resolution and then select and save the perfect frame as an 8mp still, ensuring you don’t miss the best moments, and at graduations there are plenty!

For the ladies out there, have you considered what your hair will look like? Big curls or sleek and straight? Whatever you choose to do, make sure you start will a good base - the perfect blow dry. The Panasonic NA65 hairdyer with Nanoe technology, penetrates deep into hair to maintain moisture balance, keep hair shiny and manageable. After all, this isn’t the day to have a ‘bad hair day’!

Fathers, having a bushy un-trimmed beard or stubble isn’t the most dapper of looks for the big day. Don’t worry though; the ES-LT6N caters to all your shaving needs. You may have realised already - but the line from the throat to under the jaw is the most difficult place to shave. If the head loses close contact with the skin whiskers are left uncut, but applying pressure places a burden on skin. Panasonic’s special Multi-Flex 3D Head avoids excessive pressure but always stays in close contact with the skin for a smooth shave.

So there you have it, a few key tips to remember on this special day. It only happens once, so don’t mess it up!
