Panasonic prepares for everything with expansion of Worldwide Olympic Partnership

As a proud Worldwide Olympic Partner and Official Partner of Team GB for 30 years, Panasonic are delighted to extend their marketing rights beyond AV and Imaging to include Small Kitchen Appliances.

The relevance of the partnership will be encapsulated through the creative platform Preparation is Everything and rolled out through a content-led communications campaign. The content provides an unprecedented insight into the physical preparation of Team GB’s athletes from their nutrition through to their training programmes as well as the preparation undertaken by Panasonic to deliver cutting edge technology throughout the Olympic Games and Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

Through its presence at the Official Team GB Kitting Out in January, athletes were each gifted a Panasonic Slow Juicer which retains vitamins, nutrients and anti-oxidants and because mental preparation is as important, they were also gifted the new HTX-80 headphones. Participating athletes were encouraged to take part in a series of live challenges surrounding preparation which was filmed by Panasonic UK to create engaging content for both Panasonic’s and Team GB’s social channels.

Further to this, Team GB Ice Dancers and Panasonic UK Olympic Ambassadors, Nick Buckland and Penny Coomes have supported their dietary preparation with Panasonic’s range of innovative small kitchen appliances, as well as the latest Bluetooth wireless headphones HTX80 to help them train both physically and mentally for the world’s largest competition stage. Their journey has been captured as part of an integrated social campaign leveraged through both Panasonic and official Team GB channels. The content will also be featured across 22 large format full motion outdoor sites nationwide alongside PyeongChang BBC highlights, reviews & previews and medal updates.
